Look whooo's here!

Such a little cutie-pie. These photos make you long for the days when your newborn would fall asleep on your chest. I remember those days--it did not matter what you needed to get done-- laundry or dishes, whatever--you had to sit on the couch and soak in all the baby warmth and snuggles! 

I love to coordinate the colors of the announcement with the colors in the photos. The green leaves pick up the colors in his blanket and the brown tones mirror the photo background--it makes for such a comforting design. Welcome to the world, baby Jacob!

I love it when someone sees one of my designs and has the ability to apply it to another situation. Elizabeth's mom, Melissa, loved the blue daisy graduation announcement and we were able to tailor it to suit her beautiful baby girl's 1st birthday invitation. When I received the email with the photos attached--I had to squeal! This was going to be fun--she is just a doll! I love how the flowers on her cute dress mirror the daisy artwork below and the colors in the background have the same shade of blue--some things are just mean to be!
I love celebrating 1st birthdays--they are such a landmark for new parents. I remember each of my three children's 1st birthdays--and thinking to myself--wheeew-- we made it! They are healthy and doing great and I survived the first year!
